Pregnancy discrimination
Direct pregnancy discrimination is
treating women unfairly because they are, or may be,
expecting a baby.
Indirect pregnancy discrimination is
treatment which appears to be equal
but is unfair on women who are, or may
be pregnant. To be unlawful it must be
unreasonable.
It is unlawful to discriminate against women
because they are, or may be pregnant. If you believe that you are being discriminated against because you are pregnant, you should contact the SDA.
