The SDA Training Centre is an Accredited Training Provider, and we offer the following courses which comply with SafeworkSA standards and guidelines.

• Health and Safety Representative Training – Level 1 (5 days)
• Health and Safety Representative Training – Level 2 (5 days)
• Health and Safety Representative Continuing Training
• Health and Safety Committee Training

This course provides 1 day of training for members of workplace Health and Safety Committees.

The course covers a number of areas including:

• Familiarising committee members with key concepts associated with OHS&W
• Highlight the role and responsibilities of committee members prescribed by legislation
• Assist with ideas to make committee’s more effective and efficient
• Familiarise committee members with meeting procedures and techniques

We have a number of open courses throughout the year for individuals who wish to attend OHS Committee Training, but we also have the ability to conduct Company Specific courses for your entire committee. If you are interested in this, please contact us via the following link

Fee Structure

The SDA has a competitive Fee Structure for people attending OHS courses with us.

The 5 day Health and Safety Rep Courses are $580 (discounted to $440 for members), and includes morning tea, lunch and field trip expenses.

The 1 day Health and Safety Committee Courses are $110 (discounted to $90 for members) and includes morning tea and lunch

Please note that Subsidies of up to $100 per day are available for a large number of organisations. Contact us for more details.
