As of 20 February 2019, Sonia Romeo will be stepping down as Secretary of the SDA and will continue her work at the union in the role of Assistant Secretary.
As a mother of three beautiful boys, she has chosen to dedicate a little more time to them.

Josh is experienced and ready to take on the role of Secretary. As Assistant Secretary, Josh has been fundamental to providing strong leadership to get the best possible outcomes for workers.
Josh is hard-working, passionate and has years of experience fighting for SDA members.
In 2019, the SDA will be fighting for:
– a guaranteed living wage for workers
– the restoration of penalty rates
– paid family and domestic violence leave
– stronger rights for casual and labour hire workers
