He started working at the SDA in 2008 as an Organiser, working to grow the union and help members to resolve workplace issues.

Jordan Mumford joined the SDA when he got his first job at McDonald’s when he was 14 years old. Jordan then worked at Coles in the deli for six years.
Jordan knows first-hand the experiences of retail and fast-food workers and he is committed to fighting to improve their working lives.
Working at West Lakes, he supported the SDA’s campaign against the imposition of paid parking – a campaign the SDA later won.
As an SDA Official for seven years Jordan has represented workers on the shopfloor, worked in Organising and Campaigns to uncover wage theft, improve public holidays rights and introduce stronger laws to protect workers from abuse and assault.
